Development Cycle

A key component of having a successful project and business relationship is to have a development cycle to follow and help guide the process. While every project is different and may not require all the steps, following the basic guidelines can help us stay on track before, during and after the project and to give you a better sense of what is involved.

Planning

  • Initial discussion - Initial contact about desired project and a brief overview of services
  • Research - What others are doing, how we can improve or innovate in the markets
  • Discovery - Brainstorm project, create proposal from requirements
  • Architecture - Plan out site framework, sitemaps, content requirements, colors, fonts

  • Imagery - Choose strong photos that have a purpose
  • Initial composition - Create layouts
  • Client Feed Back - Choose top design, make any revisions necessary
  • Final Design - Make final design revisions
  • Additional Pages - Create designs for any additional pages if needed

  • Front End Development - HTML, CSS, JS
  • CMS Integration - Tie in CMS with page design
  • Page Creation - Build all pages, ready for content
  • Content deployment
  • Flash Development - Build any flash technology that is required, tie in with site
